For the majority of Singaporeans, Singapore may seem like the crime-free city it is lauded to be. However, the reality is that our law enforcement works tirelessly to preserve this safe haven for the rest of us.

In the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB)’s latest battle against drugs, our brave officers claim another victory.

On Monday (Feb 12) CNB officers arrested five drug offenders in a raid at a petrol kiosk along Pasir Ris Drive 1, where they were discovered to meet up.

They then raided the residence of one of the offenders, at Pasir Ris Drive 3, where an additional 2 Singaporean women were arrested.

In total 427g of heroin, 409g of Ice, 101 ecstasy tablets and 22 Erimin-5 tablets worth more than S$74,000 were seized.

The offenders were also found to be in possession of four parangs and a baton.

The drugs were intended for sale and distribution, and it was enough to feed 400 abusers for a week.
